Sensex up 117 points on buying support:
The Bombay stock exchange sensex,registered a 117-point gain on friday and closed at 16154.62 on thursday.
The 50 share of nifty of th NSE also rebounded by 34.75 points to 4866.
Rupee gains furrther:
Rising for 2nd day, the rupee rose by 9 paise to settle at a fresh six week- high of 51.52/53 against the dollar amid increased foreign fund inflows, mainly due to debt markets. The rupee moved eratically between 51.28 and 51.58 on alternate bounds of buying and selling.
